Air Travel
Kansas City International Airport (KCI/MCI) is on 1-29, about 22 miles north of downtown Kansas City. KCI is an hour’s drive (I-435 South, then I-70 West) to Lawrence. For more detailed driving directions, see the links above. Airport shuttles and other methods of ground transportation are available for travel between Lawrence and KCI as well.
