The School of Engineering hosts students from around the world, who bring distinctive skills to the job or internship search, althougth international students may also face unique challenges in these searches. ECC staff can help you navigate cultural issues, understand the employment options in your career development, and point you to resources to support your success.

International Support Services

Provides a wide range of support services and resources aimed at KU International Students.

Participate in their workshops on Optional Practical Training (OPT), Curricular Practical Training (CPT), as well as H-1b & Employment-Based Permanent Residence to gain a broad understanding of the U.S. employment process for international students.

My World Abroad

Includes a go abroad essentials whether you want to work, study, travel abroad and more; as well as a comprehensive guide to international success.

Includes a special database (H1B Plus) under the H1B Visas tab listings American employers who have historically hired international professionals.
